Our journey starts with a visit to historical church which says a numerous myths and traditions. It is one of the oldest churches in Kerala and its architecture is also very attractive. The myth related to the church is very interesting and it deals with a parish father named ‘ Kadamattatthu kathanar’. The story tells about his fight against ‘Satan’ and the remains of the church carvings supporting as evidence.

This is a journey through the calm river which leads us to the very interior of our village and gives you some rare looks.
Lunch
At around 2 pm will start descending for Moncy’s house and our hosts Moncy and family will serve as a sumptuous lunch with boiled rice, pappadam and curries in a plantain leaf, all part of a traditional kerala meal. Most of the ingredients in the food like yams, cucumber, chilly, curryleaf, leafy vegetables, etc are sourced directly from Thomas’s farm itself. The non-vegetarian items included are fishes and chicken fry.
This village is blessed with rich vegetation and diverse agricultural practices. A natural walk through the paddy fields will give you a fresh experience. Espe cially the guide will introduce you the features of some varieties.

It is some what adventurous but fully interesting. We move to the top of hill which is to see the ruins of an abandon church. In addition to the view of this old church we will also get some rare views from this hill top. You mat think to spend more times here. But we are in hurry. Let’s move.
